	International Fire Protection (IFP) is an Alabama Corporation started in June of 1990 in Madison, Alabama, and has grown to be one of the largest fire protection companies in the southeast because of the emphasis on customer service. Steady growth and a demand for our services have allowed expansion into twelve cities to serve a customer base located in fourteen different states. IFP has developed a relationship with and continues to work with major general contractors and a variety of businesses and industries from the largest to the very small. The company has steadily grown over the past fourteen years from the two people who started it to approximately 320 employees now organized into four different customer service groups. IFP is basically organized into four different tasks groups to provide the best customer service. The INSPECTION group consists of twenty field employees who specialize and are trained in checking all types of fire protection systems in accordance with the requirements of manufacturers and the National Fire Codes. The SERVICE group consists of approximately seventy-five field employees who do small changes and renovations of existing systems. The CONTRACTS group consisting of approximately 150 employees who do large jobs involving mostly new installations and major renovations. The ALARM & DETECTION DIVISION was established in 2003. This group of 30 employees does all types of fire alarms, security alarms, phone systems, and call systems. In order to support the customer service groups, IFP has developed a professional staff of 70 employees consisting of sales personnel, design engineers, administrative assistants, corporate staff and fabrication technicians.	The principal owners of the company, Kamran Malek and Ronnie Davidson, have extensive experience in Fire Protection and Suppression service, design, sale, inspection and installation. Kamran Malek, President, graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a major in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Fire Protection Engineer Technician and license holder for the states of Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, Arkansas, Virginia, and Texas. Ronnie Davidson, Vice president attended Penn State University for four years and completed the Sprinkler Installation training program. He is a license holder in the state of Mississippi.
